Coastal Passenger and Cargo Steamer for the New England Steamship Co., a division of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad.

202'-5"long, 36'beam, 14'-3"depth, 9'draft, displacement 900 light ship, 1,089 full load, 2 Babcock & Wilcox Boilers, 1 triple expansion 4-cylinder steam engine, 1,200 horsepower. Launched March 24,1925, delivered April 9,1925. Sister ship to the ISLANDER. Carried passengers and freight to the Nantucket Islands. Sold in 1975 and converted to a floating restaurant in Baltimore. This business closed and the ship was laid-up in 1986. Today she is berthed in the dry dock at Charleston Navy Yard, Boston, MA hopefully to be restored as a museum piece.
